Welcome to Michigan. It's overwhelmingly cold here now; I guess I have to give up my 50 degrees F fantasies now. Every fall I develop this otherworldly sense that this winter will be the first Michigan winter where the temperature never drops below 50. Ahh well. It's been snowing off and on all week and when I woke up this morning there was a considerable dusting on all the cars outside. Last night I broke down and finally let Jeremie turn the heat on. To me, that's like some big, evil symbol of the terrifying heat bills to come and I like to put off the event for as long as possible. However, I do think it was time. I'm sitting here wrapped up in a blankie and my feetsies are freezing. I should go find some socks or slippers.
